PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS SPRING FELLOWSHIP 2012
Join us for ASI Lake Union Spring Fellowship April 20-22 on the beautiful grounds of the new Adventist Frontier Missions Training Center in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Highlights for this weekend will include:
- Friday afternoon workshops
- Friday evening presentation by Elder Don Livesay
- Sabbath worship with Vicki Griffin
- Members-in-action reports Sabbath afternoon
- Sunday prayer breakfast with Mark Coleman
Our theme this weekend, “Pressing Forward,” comes to us from Paul’s admonition to “press toward the goal,” straining forward with all our heart in response to “the upward call of God” (Phil 3: 13, 14).
Elder Don Livesay, Lake Union Conference President and Keynote Speaker, will kick off our weekend on Friday evening with a message of inspiration and encouragement to “Press Forward!”
Vicki Griffin is the Director of Health Ministries for the Michigan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. Vicki has learned that loss is a part of life - the hardest part - and it starts early. She will address how we can find hope, meaning, and strength while navigating through intractable problems, pain, and perplexity. From her personal experience, Vicki will share what she has learned and offer tools for pressing forward against what seems to be insurmountable odds.
Mark Coleman and his missionary family have responded to God's call to press forward with courage and determination. He will be sharing their experiences of telling others of a soon-coming Savior.
